Here are the instructions for posting jobs on the BDPA-Jobs yahoogroup.
1) The first step is to join the list. You have to be a member of the list to post jobs. Here's the link to join the list.
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/BDPA-Chicago-Jobs/join
2) When you join it will ask you for your email options:
a) Individual emails: You will receive an email every time someone posts to the email list.
b) Daily Digest: You will receive one email each day with all the daily postings combined.
c) Web Only: You will not receive emails, but can go to the web site to browse the messages.
3) Once you are signed up as a subscriber, you simply send an email to the email list to
BDPA-Chicago-Jobs@yahoogroups.com
.
4) When you post jobs, it is recommended that you embed the posting in the text of the message. Attachments don't work out too well. Also, you should put the geographical location of the job in the subject line. It is best to include contact information for someone who can track the resumes. Some companies set-up a source code on their careers website or ask applicants to include "BDPA" in the body of the resume.
