Milt is an IT Project Director with extensive experience leading large-scale global teams (200+ employees) in matrixed organizations. He has strong expertise in managing large multi-million dollar budgets, programs, PMOs and technical resources to achieve timely and cost effective delivery of complex projects and innovative technical solutions. Milt also has a proven track record delivering ROI by building relationships with senior IT business leaders and delivering IT strategies and technology roadmaps used to enhance business competitiveness and accelerate business value realization.
 
Milt is a sought after motivational speaker, coach and mentor and has helped thousands advance their careers in IT. Milt Haynes is the founder of Blacks Gone Geek, a social networking initiative dedicated to promoting Blacks in Technology. Milt uses blogs, podcasts, RSS Feeds, Facebook groups, Groupsite.com, Yahoogroups and his web site, www.blacksgonegeek.org, to network with an online community of IT professionals.
 
Milt has been a BDPA (Black Data Processing Associates) member for over 20 years and has served as BDPA Chicago Chapter President and National BDPA President. Milt is currently the CIO for National BDPA and a member of the BDPA Chicago Corporate Advisory Council. Milt has received over 17 awards and honors at the local chapter and National level including the most prestigious National BDPA Outstanding Chapter President Award, Outstanding Contributor Award, Member of the Year Award, Presidents Award, Service Award and the Spirit Award.
 
Milt is also the Chair of the PMI Chicagoland Executive Council and a member of ITSMF (IT Senior Management Forum). ITSMF is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to fostering upper-level executive talent among African-American IT professionals.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, Columbia University, New York, New York and Lindblom Technical High School Class of '69 in Chicago

Personal/Interests: Milt spends his spare time enjoying family activities with his wife and beautiful 14-year-old twin daughters and volunteering for community outreach initiatives.
